Let's start by acknowledging the harsh reality of child trafficking. Unfortunately, Southwest Florida, like many others, is not immune to this terrible crime. Children, our most vulnerable members, are often coerced and forced into a life of exploitation, robbing them of their innocence. It's crucial for us as a community to be aware of this issue and work together to prevent and address it.
Abandonment is another form of trauma that affects too many children. Whether due to circumstances beyond their control or deliberate actions, being left without a stable and nurturing environment can have lasting effects on a child's well-being. Let's recognize abandonment as a serious issue and work towards creating a support system that helps these children heal and thrive.
Neglect, often a silent problem, can be just as damaging as overt abuse. When children are denied the love and care they deserve, it leaves lasting impacts on their mental and emotional health. It's important for us to identify neglect as a form of abuse and prioritize early intervention and support systems to ensure no child is left to face life's challenges alone.
Now, let's address the uncomfortable truth of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Sadly, some children in our community endure unspeakable acts of violence. We must break the silence surrounding abuse, create an environment where victims feel empowered to speak out, and ensure that abusers are held accountable.
In the face of these challenges, KOI is committed to raising awareness, offering support, and working with other agencies that are actively working towards preventing further instances of childhood abuse.
Today we stand together against the shadows that threaten our children's voices and well-being. Together we can create a brighter future for the children of Lee County and surrounding SWFL —We will speak their silence and give the voiceless children a voice to be heard!! Unmuting the silence on childhood trauma, and showing our innocent children that with compassion, understanding, and love, their future has endless possibilities.

Our Mission
Keepers of the Innocent (KOI) is a family of bikers dedicated to ensuring that children, youth, and families affected by abuse and neglect receive the support and resources they deserve. With unwavering commitment, KOI members pledge their lives and strength to stand alongside these innocent individuals, leaving no room for society to abandon them. Through our 501(c)3 status, we not only provide essential aid but also strive to educate the community about recognizing the signs of those suffering abuse while encouraging them to make a difference. With a dedicated team of advisors, we guide survivors towards resources and foster their growth and resilience, empowering them to break the cycle of trauma. KOI does this by providing a positive impact in the lives of the abused and meeting their needs along with helping them to break the cycle of abuse and trauma going forward. You may be asking yourself why bikers or how can this organization make a difference for these kids?
We have seen how children light up when they hear the roaring sound of a motorcycle coming down the road and a group of bikers showing up JUST for them. It can change how alone or unsafe they were feeling in just an instant. Our children know that KOI has no judgement and will only see them for who they are and what they can become!!! Not what has happened to them.
Our biker family has zero tolerance for any type of abuse. Our goal is to ensure we break the silence, and every child is heard. We are bikers lending our strength to innocent children who have had their voice stolen and left them in fear and broken.
Our KOI kids and their families can contact us at any stage in their life's. We will be there to offer strength and support. If additional resources are ever needed our team of advisors will do their best to point them in the right direction to other agencies that can help. We want to educate community members to recognize the signs and how they can become the solution to a global issue and make a difference - Together, we speak their silence!!
