EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE & FRESH START BAGS
When our gladiators are facing dangerous or overwhelming situations, KOI steps in to help create safety, stability, and support during the moments that matter most.
We work alongside proper authorities when needed, help our gladiators get to safe locations, assist with emergency shelter and essential supplies, provide home support when they feel unsafe, and help connect people with trusted resources and services.
KOI also provides Fresh Start Bags filled with necessities like clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, snacks, and comfort items to help them through difficult transitions with care and dignity.
No situation is ever one-size-fits-all, but our goal is always the same:
to make sure our gladiators never feel abandoned, forgotten, or alone during crisis.
COURT PRESENCE
For most adults, walking into a courtroom is stressful and overwhelming. The waiting, the uncertainty, the unfamiliar environment, and the weight of the moment can make anyone uneasy.
Now imagine being a Gladiator having to walk into that room, face painful memories, see the accused, and relive moments no child should ever have to carry.
KOI shows up to help bring strength, stability, and familiar faces into those difficult moments. Whether it is simply standing nearby, helping ease the weight of the day, or reminding a Gladiator they have people in their corner, our goal is to help them feel supported instead of isolated.

Healing takes time, support, and the right people in your corner. KOI helps connect children and families with trusted therapeutic resources, emotional support services, and, when the situation calls for it, assistance through our therapy fund to help make healing and growth possible.
